End of an Era

So the day has come. And this day is today.

Today is my last day as a Head Barista at Legit Coffee Co. on Meath Street / Liberties, Dublin.

For the last 3 years, I did hectoliters of coffee for our Guests.

I run a few cuppings, I introduce a few nice Guest Roasters, run fantastic tasting dinners and wine tastings. Finally, I had a chance to run my bistro at the back of Legit called The Blue Anchor Wine Bistro.

For those times, I had a pleasure to work with several, great Baristas, Chefs, Kitchen Porters, and made a few goods friendships.

Also, the barista competition which I founded in 2017 and organized year by year is a great success of mine. I am very proud of it.

The Liberties Brewers Cup will no longer gonna be in Legit. But, it will stay at the Liberties DUBLIN. That is no doubt.

It’s great for a community, great for coffee people and great for advertising sustainability, specialty coffee in Ireland.

Stay with me:)

More to come!

Private Wine Tasting

If you wish to do something unusual as a Christmas Party or just simply like to spend time with your friends and get some wine, “wine not” to do a wine tasting?

I’m open to a proposition to run the tasting for you.

Just send me an e-mail with your inquiry 🙂

Due to unforeseen circumstances, last night service on Saturday the 30thn of November 2019, was my last one at the back of Legit Coffee Co. on Meath Street.

I would like to say big thanks to everyone who supports me, who visits me, and who enjoyed my project.

Please, stay in touch, as I try to find a solution to be able to operate as a Blue Anchor in a shorter future.

Some updates

Some of you, like to look here for new information, some of you keep an update via my facebook or Instagram profiles. Any channels you like to use, I am obligated to give you a piece of fresh news for the next few weeks.

  1. I will be away from tomorrow till Wednesday the 30th of October, so the bistro will be closed. I am really sorry, but as a one-man circus, I can not physically be in the two spots at the same time.
  2. New menu for November will hit on Friday the 1st of November (obviously ) 🙂
  3. The Croatian wines (from Istria) tasting will be held at the Blue Anchor on Tuesday the 5th of November. Tickets are available here: Selling fast 😉
  4. Bookings are open for November and also for December. ( or 083 407 3115 ) Please note, I have only 16 seats, so I can’t take a bigger group booking.
  5. New wines (natural and organic) will be added also.

New Menu will hit this Friday :)

October is here, grey outside and a little bit colder, so I prepare something Autumny.

There will be pumpkin, and smoky pork with so many aromas like cummin seeds, juniper berries, and some umami taste.

And you know what? We’ll keep you feeling “BANANAS” 🙂

August Wine Tasting

Tuesday the 27th, I will run another monthly wine tasting here at The Blue Anchor Wine Bistro, Wine Bar or whatever you’d like to call it 😉

This month I will show you, how beautiful could be a Riesling variety from the Mosel Valley in Germany.

In my opinion, it is the best expression of this variety.
